Monte Hoover
President and General Manager

Monte started his employment at Gillespie’s under his mother and father, Russ and Charlene over 45 years ago! Beginning his employment as a cleaning technician, Monte has taken responsibility of anything from project management and business planning to marketing and accounting. As a Vacaville High School Graduate, 47 years as a member of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, Honorary Commander at TAFB and various other philanthropic groups, it is safe to say that Monte is a man of his community. In the free time he finds outside of working and giving back to the community, he’s likely in a duck blind with his chocolate lab Kona, spending time with his wife Sharon or working on his yard!

Craig Hoover
Vice President & Installation Manager

The middle of the Hoover boy’s, Craig also started his employment at Gillespie’s over 45 years ago! His career at Gillespie’s started with odds and ends jobs around the shop to cleaning and restoration to his current position as owner and installation manager. While his card reads “installation manager,” that hardly begins to describe what Craig does for the company. With over 40 years of experience with installation, Craig is an absolute artist at what he does and the epitome of a professional. While it seems like he works 25 hours a day, 8 days a week, the free time he does find is often spent fishing, camping and rafting or enjoying a Giants game at home with his wife Kathy.

Ron Sukon
Cleaning Technician

Gillespie’s is proud to have Ron, an IICRC Certified Journeyman Clean, as a member of their team. With 30+ years as a cleaning technician, Ron specializes in rug cleaning, carpet cleaning, repairs, re-stretch, upholstery cleaning, as well as tile & grout cleaning. Ron is the proud father of three kids, and has been a member of the Fairfield community for over 30 years. Outside of work, Ron enjoys fishing, hiking, and tackling his honey-do list!

Rhonda Lopez
Account Manager

For 15 years Rhonda has worked as Gillespie’s Accountant. Although she specializes in accounting. Raised in Fairfield and graduating from Fairfield High, Rhonda has kept her family in Solano County including her four grandchildren Ryan, Aiden, Maverick, and Levi. While she has her hands full as a mother and grandmother, Rhonda enjoys seeing live music with her husband Henry, staying in shape, and enjoying the company of friends and family!

Jeffery Shaw
Lead Installation Technician

Jeff came to work for the G-Team in March of 2010 with 12 years of experience under his belt, his skill and dedication has given him the responsibility of job lead. Jeff specializes in hardwood, tile and customer satisfaction! When he's not busy installing floors, Jeff is busy hunting, fishing, exploring the outdoors, and enjoying quality time with his wife Kaci, daughter Willow and Lemon (3 year old golden retriever).

Angela Arroyo
Showroom Manager

Angela’s background is in customer service so it’s no wonder our customer’s love working with her! She has a great eye for color and is passionate about finding the right floor for the family living on it (including your four-legged family members!). Whether you are looking for help selecting hardwood or carpet to design ideas for your backsplash, Angela is excellent for all of your flooring needs! If you run in to her outside of the store, she is likely playing tennis, spending time with her wife, Marisa, or enjoying time with her loved ones!

Ed McDonald
Lead Installation Technician

Ed is from Northern Idaho and moved to Solano County just over 2 years ago, joining the G-Team shortly after settling in. With over 30 year of experience in the flooring industry, he was a great fit to the Gillespie's installation team as a lead technician. With his free time you can catch Ed at Stars aiming for 300 with his bowling league, shooting pool or spending time with his family.

George Abaray
Installation Technician

George came to work for the Gillespie's installation team after being a lead cleaning technician for Love's Carpet Cleaning for many years. With over 15 years of carpet cleaning experience, George has a great eye for detail and customer satisfaction. Outside of Gillespie's George enjoys working on cars, or spending quality time with his friends and family.

Antonio Ibarra
Lead Installation Technician

Antonio has been in the flooring industry for 24 years with 17 of those as a carpet installer for Gillespie's. Antonio is very detail oriented and takes great pride in perfecting each job to the customer's satisfaction. Carpet installation requires skill and precision, two things Antonio takes great pride! Being a family man, Antonio enjoys family vacations to Hawaii or anywhere he can put his feet in the sand while enjoying beautiful weather!
